Granada Easter Acro Training

Enjoy 6 days surrounded by nature in the heart of the Alpujarras, workshops on Acroyoga, Yoga, Thai Massage, Prehab, Icarians, Partner Acrobatics , Verticals and much more; Learning with experienced teachers who will carry out workshops adapted to all levels, in a full schedule of activities, group games, workshops, Shows, Acro jams, swimming pool, Sauna… in the beautiful “Cortijo Casería del Mercado”.

Workshops

There will be three simultaneous workshops (beginner, intermediate and advanced)

The main content of the workshops will be: Acroyoga & Partner Acrobatics, L basing and standing acro, Icarians, Whips, Whipops, hand to hands, Handstands, Thai massage and lots of games & fun!

Jessica: Graduate in motor science, gymnastics and parkour teacher from 2008 she taught at Italian acro convention, new year acro by acrofusion in Turin, barefootyoga retreat in Croatia. Her passion is to create didactic paths to facilitate the understanding of the acrobatic movement.

Cuzio: Acroyoga teacher (vancityacro) since 2019. With the will of sharing his knowledge in the discipline, he taught weekly classes and to different events during those years such as Italian acro convention, barefootyoga retreat in Croatia, new year acro by acrofusion in Turin. Starting his road being a parkour teacher he has a careful and precise vision of acrobatic movements.

Carú and David have grown up together in the practice of acroyoga, working together for more than ten years. In their practice and their teaching style you can appreciate the synchronicity and complicity of this journey. They are two of the founders of Acrology, and they are dedicated to traveling around the world teaching at their own events and other retreats, festivals, conventions, trainings and practicing other passions such as climbing, hiking, mountaineering, surfing and exploring the nature and the culture of every country.

They have a very approachable and fun teaching style that is also technical and precise. You will have a great time in their workshops with a clownesque atmosphere while you learn challenging flows, Icarians, counter-balances and the creative combinations of movements that they propose in their classes while you laugh a lot.

In addition, each one adds their other passions to the practice and the way of teaching in their retreats and workshops, fusing disciplines such as capoeira, juggling, body percussion, therapeutic practices that give them a unique and inspiring style.
For them is very special to organize and event here, as we consider the quality of the place, the food and the facilities is top, also because we love to support family and community projects being the @cortijocaseriadelercado, a family manage space made with love, charm, full of tradition, culture and with everything we need to train and enjoy the experience fully.

In love with acroyoga for over 7 years, he is the founder of TaoTrips and the Valencia Acroyoga Convention. Both projects are dedicated to creating a space where the community can come together, learn, and grow collectively.
Within the fascinating world of acroyoga, his greatest passion lies in “flows” and “icarians.” For him “Flows” represent a synchronized dance of body and mind, where grace and strength merge in harmony. In contrast, “icarians” awaken his fascination for aerial acrobatics, pushing the limits of what is possible and elevating the experience to new heights.
His quest extends beyond personal mastery in these disciplines; it involves creating an inclusive space where others can discover and share the transformative wonder of acroyoga. On this journey, he finds his greatest satisfaction in inspiring others to explore the depths of their own potential, thus contributing to the development of a healthier and more connected community.

Location

“Cortijo Casería del Mercado” is located 1,250 meters high in the mountains bordering the National Park of Sierra Nevada. Nestled between the small villages of Almegíjar and Cástaras, around an hour drive from the beautiful city of Granada. The farm is surrounded by a wide variety of flora and fauna, and boasts perfect installations for our convention.
The local area is fantastic hiking country with spectacular mountain views and isolated “white villages”.
